Thuringia 2025: Top-class music festivals attract thousands!

Something is happening in Thuringia! The year 2025 promises one musical highlight after another, and music lovers can look forward to a colorful festival program. From folk to rock, from classical to electro, there is something for every taste. In addition to national stars, international musicians also perform, all in one of the most beautiful regions in Germany.

This will be a very special event Yiddish Summer Weimar which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. From July 12th to August 17th, the atmosphere in Weimar will be characterized by the sounds of klezmer, Yiddish singing and dancing. Every year the festival attracts around 10,000 visitors and offers around 28 workshops as well as a special gala on August 17th. Both 6-hour and 3-hour workshops are on the program each festival day, giving all participants the opportunity to explore different topics and learn new skills.

The Auerworld Festival in Bad Sulza is bringing a diverse program from July 24th to 27th, with bands and DJs of all genres represented. With a mix of folk, jazz, punk rock and indie pop, there is something for every musical taste. And all of this comfortably in a friendly atmosphere, which also offers a children's area and a radio play area.

TheRudolstadt Festival, from July 3rd to 6th, is considered the largest festival for folk, roots and world music in Germany and will focus on Mali in 2025. This is where the heart beats for extraordinary sounds and cultures.

It will be really loud in the Kulturarena in Jena from July 2nd to August 17th, because Tocotronic and Amy Macdonald, among others, will be performing here. Over 70,000 visitors can look forward to a program that includes not only music, but also theater and film.
