What was going on in Gerstungen this morning is like a real drama. At around 4:15 a.m., a massive fire started in a remaining item hardware store on the outskirts of the Wartburg district, which quickly drew attention to itself. The fire brigade was immediately alerted and moved up with around 50 emergency services to tame the flames. Due to the strong column of smoke, which was visible from far away, the bridge road was completely blocked during the extinguishing work. At around 7 a.m., the emergency services were finally able to give the all-clear and declare the extinguishing work to be ended, reports Tag24 .

Members of the fire brigade, police and emergency services were immediately on site and were high pressure on bringing the situation under control. Fortunately, according to current information, there was no injuries.
