The roads in the Wartburg district will face some challenges in the coming weeks. From Monday, November 10th, the K 514 in the municipality of Hörselberg-Hainich will be completely closed for probably two weeks until November 28th, 5 p.m. The reason for this measure is sewer laying and connection work by the drinking and wastewater association. A diversion takes place via the B 84 towards Bad Langensalza and further via the B 247 to Wangenheim and Tüngeda and vice versa. Passengers on local public transport should also pay attention to the current notices so as not to miss possible adjustments to the timetable, reports Eisenach Online.

But that's not all: Also from Monday, November 10th, the K 88 in Bad Liebenstein will be closed until November 14th, 5 p.m. Alternate points for road traffic will be created here, which will result in a diversion via the L 1027 and L 1126 to Bairoda, Meimers and Sorga.

Further closures in the district

There are other traffic disruptions throughout the region that should not go unnoticed. If you look at the planned closures, you will immediately notice that the L 2118 in Ruhla will be completely closed on August 13th and 14th in order to establish a drinking water connection. There is an inner-city diversion via Am Stadtwald, Knaudtstraße and Dornsengasse.

In addition, on Tuesday, August 12th, Weinbergstrasse in Wutha will be closed from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. due to connection work at number 27. Motorists have to divert various routes via Eisenacher Straße, Bahnhofsplatz, the DB Viaduct and Weinbergstraße as well as Elisabethenhöher Weg. There is a different diversion for trucks via the L 3007 in Kahlenberg.

And as if that wasn't enough, the K 513 in Beuernfeld will also be completely closed from Tuesday, August 12th to Thursday, August 14th due to a power cable defect on Himmelsbach 25. The diversion leads via Hötzelsroda, an agricultural path, Bolleroda and back to Beuernfeld.

Last but not least, drivers must expect the L 2115 in Eckardtshausen to be closed on Monday, August 25th. A prefabricated garage is being loaded here, which causes diversions via Wilhelmsthal, B 19 and Etterwinden from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., according to information from Wartburg District District Office make clear.
