Creative minds in Cottbus: Night of Inspiration inspires 6,000 visitors!

The 17th Night of Creative Minds took place in Cottbus on October 13, 2025. Under the exciting motto “Intelligence & Emotions”, a wide range of topics were examined that addressed the influence of reason, emotions and artificial intelligence on our everyday lives. Citizens had the opportunity to find out about the diverse connections between technology, art, medicine, education and media.

In total, over 6,000 visitors attended the event in 20 different locations, including the university and the city museum. The positive review from Mayor Doreen Mohaupt, who thanked those involved, shows the great interest in this innovative initiative. Doreen Goethe, the managing director of pool production, saw the NDKK as a complete success and highlighted the wealth of ideas in the city.

An evening full of possibilities

The Night of Creative Minds not only served as a platform for stimulating encounters between research, business and culture, but also promoted the recruitment of young talent in the region. Many young people took the opportunity to find out about training and study opportunities at the companies and institutions involved. The event aimed to arouse curiosity and encourage people to get excited about new ways of thinking.

A special highlight were the shuttle lines and the PartyTram, which made it easy for visitors to get there. The evening was not only educational, but also an entertaining experience that left a lasting impression. During the event, participants were able to experience first-hand how emotions and intelligence are used in various professional fields and what creative opportunities this creates.

A platform for creativity and exchange

The NDKK represents an important part of the efforts to maintain Germany as a “land of ideas” and to promote individual creativity. The non-profit organization is also committed to this creative-being.org, which has functioned as a platform for professional exchange between all age groups and professional sectors since 1998. The close cooperation with other organizations shows how important this exchange is for the development of innovative ideas and concepts.

This event not only builds a bridge between different disciplines, but also creates a creative environment in which future talent is nurtured. The NDKK is therefore not just an event, but an essential part of the cultural identity of Cottbus and a step into the future.

The busy night proved once again that Cottbus is a place full of creative minds. The positive feedback from participants gives hope for another edition of the NDKK to further deepen the experiences of emotional intelligence and innovative thinking.
