Kino im Luch in Kremmen: new opening with comedic flair!

On Thursday, October 9th, 2025, the “Kino im Luch” in Kremmen will ceremoniously open its doors at 8 p.m. Managed by Jan Kühling, who also runs the popular “Kultur & Beeren” at Kremmener Hof, the cinema has a comfortable capacity of 50 seats. In order to make going to the cinema possible for everyone, the admission price is extremely moderate at 5 euros.

The film screenings begin with the French comedy “Oh la la – who would guess something like that?”, which promises humor and lightness. The film screenings take place every two weeks on Thursdays, so the audience can look forward to a varied program.

Cinematographic highlights and more

Before the new film screenings, the “Kino im Luch” was already celebrating success with the open-air cinema “Kino im Beerenfeld”, which has been offered since August 2021. The new location now allows events to take place regardless of the weather and also offers space for cultural events and readings. One such reading will take place on October 31st, when the author Richard Brandes will read from his crime novel “Hunted by Brandenburg”.

Another highlight in the film program will be the screening of the award-winning film “Looking into the Sun” on November 6th. The film, directed by Mascha Schilinski, spans 100 years and deals with intergenerational trauma - a thought-provoking topic. The film won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival and is rated 16.

Here are some details about the film screening:

  • Datum: 06. November 2025
  • Uhrzeit: 20:00 – 22:00 Uhr
  • Einlass: Eine Stunde vor Filmstart
  • Ticketpreis: 5 Euro
  • Veranstalter: Kultur & Beeren UG, Am Kanal 16, 16766 Kremmen
  • Kontakt: (033055) 211515, info(at)kultur-beeren.de

The screenings aim to take the wishes and interests of the guests into account, which is achieved through the good cooperation between Jan Kühling and the cinemagoers. Not to be forgotten are the upcoming films such as “Bitter Gold” on October 23rd and “Mels Block” on November 20th, which continue to enrich the program.

A cinema for the region

The “Kino im Luch” is part of a network of around 400 cinemas that operate in rural regions. The cinema is supported by the LAND – KINO – CULTURE project, which is funded by Claudia Roth, the Federal Commissioner for Culture and Media. The focus here is primarily on cinemas in smaller towns in order to secure and expand cultural diversity. Sustainable networking between these cinemas is to be promoted through extensive consulting services and individual training.

The entrance fee of 5 euros is intended to lower the barrier so that many people can afford to go to the cinema. Snacks and a selection of drinks are available if you're feeling peckish in between meals, although prices can be slightly higher.

Events are already planned for the Advent season, including the Christmas Farm Days on December 6th, 7th, 13th and 14th as well as a comedy reading on December 6th and the film screening “Charles Dickens: The Man Who Invented Christmas” on December 13th. After the winter break from January to February 2026, new films will be on the program again from March, while overnight accommodations for water hikers and cyclists are also being planned from spring 2026.

With such a diverse and appealing program, you can look forward to the opening of the “Kino im Luch”. It will certainly be a place of communal experience, film art and culture for the region. Whether it's exciting films, insightful readings or festive events - there's something for everyone here!
