Dramatic football weekend: last minute victory and flood of cards!

In an exciting state class game on Friday evening, November 10th, 2025, Rot-Weiß Prenzlau had to admit defeat against Schorfheide Joachimsthal with a clear 0-4. The game, which took place under floodlights, attracted 370 spectators, who had to experience a rather one-sided outcome. Joachimsthal caused a sensation after just three minutes by taking the lead and taking the wind out of Prenzlau's sails from the start.

The Prenzlauer team had difficulty finding their way into the game and could hardly follow the hosts' dominant style of play. So it wasn't surprising that Schorfheide was able to score the second goal midway through the first half. Overall, Prenzlau only managed two shots on goal during the entire game, which impressively underlined Joachimsthal's superiority. At the latest with the hosts' last two goals to make the final score 4-0, the game was finally decided, which not only visibly disappointed the Prenzlau team, but also presented the spectators with a clear victory.

Flood of cards and exciting twists and turns in Wriezen

A completely different picture emerged in the encounter between Blau-Weiß Wriezen and Victoria Templin, which was a real card festival: a total of 12 yellow and 2 red cards were recorded! The match initially started without any major highlights. But then Tim Rodenhagen gave Templin the lead, which only lasted three minutes as Wriezen equalized. After half-time, Quintin Schönherr made it 1-2 for the visitors, but Wriezen was not discouraged and, despite a red card, scored two goals to take the lead.

In the meantime, Schönherr equalized for Templin to make it 3-3, before Amon Vetter made it 3-4 for Victoria five minutes before the end. In the dramatic final phase there was another red card for a Templin player in stoppage time, but the guests brought the narrow lead to the finish and secured three important points.

An unexpected outcome in Gartz

Another notable game took place between Blau-Weiß Gartz and Grün-Weiß Ahrensfelde II. Gartz managed to take the lead three times, but despite these attempts they lost the game 4:5. Ahrensfelde opened the scoring in the first minute of the game, which caused uncertainty among the Garzters. The development of the game once again reinforces how crucial a strong start can be for the rest of the game and how quickly the odds in football can change.
