The Indian Spirit Festival 2025 will once again attract thousands of festival-loving people between Glaisin and Eldena. From August 27th to September 1st, the psychedelic music scene is celebrating its biggest event in Germany. Psytrance fans from Germany and all over the world come together here to dance and celebrate together. The festival offers a colorful program and a colorful atmosphere, characterized by artists, jugglers and fire artists. SVZ reports.
Visitors like Marsha from Hamburg are there for the sixth time - this time with a group of over 20 people. The creativity of the participants is also encouraged by the daily costume themes: on Friday “Birds of Paradise” are on the program, on Saturday “Leopards” are announced, and on Sunday the festival visitors transform into “Bohemian” characters. Musical entertainment is not neglected: artists like Neelix, Vini Vici and Ace Ventura provide pulsating beats and hypnotizing sounds. Nordkurier reports.
Diversity and community
The festival features over 110 international artists performing across three main stages and three smaller stages. This mix of pulsating rhythms and melodic sounds not only attracts fans from Germany, but also from abroad, including visitors like Parla from Italy, who traveled over 2,000 kilometers. The dealer mile's offering is unique and includes clothing, accessories and culinary delicacies. Particularly worth mentioning are Erhan Tamer, who sells slushies and is taking part for the tenth time this year, and Abed Louzi, who is offering vegan falafel for the first time. SVZ reports.
A highlight of the festival is the artist demonstration, during which Norbert Ziersch pulls a carriage with his historic tractor. Admission was free for locals, but some expressed their dissatisfaction with the long walk and the payment system. The Indian Spirit Festival is celebrated as the end of the season for the psytrance scene and, in addition to music, offers a variety of activities, including workshops, yoga sessions and meditation offerings that promote community and togetherness among visitors.
