On Sunday, October 12, 2025, everything at the Dessau-Neeken Equestrian Club revolves around our beloved four-legged friends. The Horse experience day promises an exciting and educational adventure for children and parents alike.
There are exciting activities on the program for little horse lovers: from getting to know and petting the horses to exciting riding lessons. There are also special learning and play stations where children can learn about feeding, keeping, equipment and the physique of the horses. This is not only exciting, but also educational!
Program for the whole family
While the children discover and play, the parents enjoy a cozy atmosphere with coffee, cake, grill and other drinks. So nothing stands in the way of a relaxed family trip. The participation fee of 30 euros per child includes not only the activities, but also drinks and snacks for the little visitors.
The program lasts two hours and includes numerous highlights such as a guided tour, a craft table with wooden horses and, of course, the popular pony ride. At the end of the day, every child can look forward to a certificate and new horse friends - a wonderful reminder of an unforgettable experience!
Commitment to young people
The Dessau-Neeken e.V. equestrian sports club also offers young people the opportunity to become active and take part in voluntary services. The application deadline for the age range 16 to 26 is from April 15 to July 31, 2025, with a start date of September 1, 2025. Anyone older can submit their application at any time on the 1st of the month. Details about the applications can be found on the association's website.
A wide range of areas of application are planned, ranging from looking after children and young people to administrative work. This offers a great opportunity to get involved and gain new experiences. With Julia Centiny as their supervisor, the participants are in good hands.
