Swastikas on the football field: Police investigate in Allstedt!
In Allstedt, a small town in the Mansfeld-Südharz district, the police have started an investigation after an incident that is worrying for many. On the night of Saturday, September 2, 2025, swastikas were dug into the grass of a football field and unconstitutional symbols were sprayed as graffiti on the walls. Banned symbols and their legal consequences
The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV) recently expanded its information resources to better inform the population about the banned signs and symbols of extremist organizations. The display and use of such signs is punishable by Sections 86 and 86a of the Criminal Code (StGB).
