Shortly after this incident, another unpleasant event occurred when a 74-year-old driver damaged a parked Renault while parking. This happened at 2:50 p.m. on the Street of Peoples' Friendship. Fortunately, no one was injured here.

Wildlife accidents and nighttime crimes

There were also two wildlife accidents on the same day. The first occurred at 10:20 p.m. on Möhlauer Straße, where a 29-year-old Mercedes driver collided with a deer, whose body successfully fled. Almost an hour later, at 11:08 p.m., a 23-year-old Toyota driver had a similar fate when he also collided with a deer on the B2 towards Kemberg. Here, too, the wild animal did not stay at the scene of the accident for long.

The police have launched comprehensive investigations in all cases.
