The naturalization test in Saxony
The Dresden Adult Education Center is a central contact point for the naturalization test. On their website you can find out that the test is carried out on behalf of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF). The test consists of 30 general questions about politics, history and culture in Germany as well as three specific questions about the federal state in which the applicant lives. A test appointment is offered every month and the registration fee is 25 euros. Registration and payment are done in person and a valid ID is required upon registration.
The VHS Dresden informed that planned test dates are on the program in the coming months. These include dates in July and August, which should encourage many interested parties to register and prepare in good time. For naturalization, language skills must also be proven, which usually have to be at level B1.
Conditions for naturalization
The BAMF offers comprehensive information on the requirements for naturalization on its website.
