This summer it's loading German Watch Museum Glashütte Families are invited to special tours that take place during the summer holidays. On each of the special dates on July 18th, July 25th, August 1st and August 8th, at 2 p.m., participants will learn more about the fascinating world of clocks and the science of time measurement in an exciting way. Visitors can look forward to a 60-minute journey of discovery that offers an insight into the achievements of watchmaking.

There is an opportunity to get active, especially for the youngest children: a museum quiz and a painting station ensure that children can immerse themselves in the stories about clocks in a playful way. The fact that even small clocks can show the time using sounds is just one of the many interesting pieces of information conveyed during the tours.

Opening times and registration options

The Clock Museum has extended opening hours until August 5th. On Mondays and Tuesdays, the museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., while it maintains regular hours on Wednesdays through Sundays.
