The suspicions against Eminger range from secret cell phone messages between her and her husband André, in which the NSU trio's code names appear, to the assumption that she met Zschäpe in 2006. In January 2012, Eminger was officially listed as a defendant. Her role as a close confidante of Zschäpe, who has already been sentenced to life imprisonment and is now part of a dropout program, casts a shadow over the entire process.
As part of the trial, it is also worth mentioning that Zschäpe is called as a witness. Her testimony is expected in early December 2025.
