On July 15, 2025, the Sparkasse Evening Cup took place in the idyllic setting of Schönbrunn, a football tournament that had been long awaited by local football fans. The host, SV Schleusegrund Schönbrunn, and other teams, including FSV Schleiz from the Thuringia League and SC 03 Weimar, which was relegated to the state league, provided exciting games and good entertainment.
