Bouncy castle fun for the whole family: opening at the Hohenfelden reservoir!
At the Hohenfelden reservoir it's all about fun and adventure - the Thuringian bouncy castle park will delight families large and small until September 21st. Here the little ones have the opportunity to jump around wildly in colorful and exciting bouncy castles and have unforgettable experiences. Special attractions such as the dinosaur wipeout, a spectacular obstacle course and an indoor climbing course with a ball pit make the offering particularly attractive to visitors. Safety is also a top priority: the bouncy castles are of high quality and regularly checked, so that the kids can romp around in a carefree environment. The park's concept creates a family atmosphere in which both children and parents can enjoy the day. By the way, a visit can be perfectly combined with a walk or cooling off in the reservoir. You can bring snacks and drinks with you so that the day full of activities can also be rounded off with culinary delights. The entry price is fair at 10 euros for children and 5 euros for adults, including a coffee voucher.
The extensive offering is accessible from Monday to Friday between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and on weekends from 11 a.m. Especially with the autumn holidays approaching, the bouncy castle park is an ideal destination for a trip with the family, as MDR reports.
Celebrations of the Hörselgau fire department
Another highlight is coming up in the region on August 30th: the Hörselgau fire department is celebrating its 160th anniversary. The festival begins at 10 a.m. with a historic fire engine that takes guests into the history of the fire department. Admission is free, which is particularly attractive for families. From 11 a.m., brass music entertains those present and modern fire brigade technology can be admired up close. Younger guests also get their money's worth: in the afternoon there is an exciting program with games and fun for children. The celebrations come to a happy conclusion with a classic disco in the evening.
Music events in Jena
There is another opportunity for music lovers: an organ concert will take place in Jena this evening as part of the International Organ Summer. The two musicians Cilija Busack and Lydia Kuhr present a program that combines violin and organ. The concert starts at 8 p.m., although entry remains affordable at 5 euros (reduced 3 euros). MDR emphasizes that this event is perfect for enjoying the evening.
For anyone who doesn't just want to rely on brass music and bouncy castles, it's worth visiting the city fair in Mühlhausen, which offers many attractions and an expected number of visitors of up to 100,000 from August 29th to September 7th. There will certainly be something for everyone here.
