On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, the sun once again shone over the amphitheater in Orange, Ohio, where the Beatles tribute band Rubber Soul gave an impressive concert despite temperatures exceeding 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The band members, including guitarist Tim Lake and bassist Dennis Desapri, still remembered the challenges of the heat. “The short breaks to rehydrate were a must,” explained Desapri. Nevertheless, the band didn't let the conditions deter them and presented a colorful set that mainly included Beatles songs from 1963 to 1966. Rubber Soul opened their concert with “All My Loving,” one of the first songs the Beatles played during their legendary appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show.

Viewers could look forward to well-known hits such as “Ticket to Ride”, “Tell Me Why” and “Can’t Buy Me Love”. The concert concluded with a shortened version of “Roll Over Beethoven”. Although the band is not a replica of the Beatles, the musical fidelity to the original recording is in the foreground. “We're not trying to look like the Beatles or imitate their accents,” Lake explained.
