Halle (Saale) shines again: successful tourism offensive launched!
There is reason to be happy in Halle (Saale)! The city's extensive tourism offensive, which was supported by the Ministry of Economics, Tourism, Agriculture and Forestry of the State of Saxony-Anhalt, has been successfully completed. How halle.de reported, the total costs amounted to 370,000 euros, with a remarkable 90 percent coming from the Corona Special Funds Act. Stadtmarketing Halle (Saale) GmbH contributed the remaining 10 percent as its own funds.
An important part of the offensive was the development of an international campaign aimed at potential visitors in the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and Sweden. In a creative process, 31 Halle sights were presented in new, appealing formats that include high-quality videos, photos and audio files. In addition, the city's tourist website has been upgraded to be multilingual and now offers content in German, English, French and Dutch.
Accessibility and digital innovations
Another highlight of the offensive was the focus on accessibility. All 31 sights were created as audio guides in German and English as well as videos in German sign language. This is done as part of the nationwide “Tourism for All” campaign. This means that even more people can now enjoy the city's beauty.
In addition, the digital family offer “Finni and Rudi discover Halle”, a radio play series that introduces little adventurers to the city in a playful way, is also exciting. With twelve family-friendly attractions and a quiz in each of the maximum 15-minute episodes, the series promises both educational and entertaining experiences for families. All new audio guide formats can be found on the audioguide.hallesaale.com platform and on the YouTube channel “Verliebt in Halle”.
Another step into the digital future is the “Hallotta” web app. Here, users can filter according to their preferences, such as time of day, time period or accessibility, and thus receive tailor-made leisure ideas and insider tips in Halle. You can find out more about this on www.hallotta.app.
Digital support for tourism
But that's not all! The support for digitalization in tourism is provided by the Medium-sized digital network pushed forward. Small and medium-sized companies benefit from free offers that focus particularly on artificial intelligence and offer future-oriented digitization perspectives. This is supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and supports broad networking within the industry.
In this context, the Saxony-Anhalt Ministry of Economic Affairs has also expanded its measures to promote tourism development. Detailed information about the new guidelines and the possibility of submitting an application can be found on the ministry's website. Not only municipal institutions are supported, but also non-profit organizations and tourist networks that contribute to increasing competitiveness in the region.
In summary, the tourism offensive in Halle (Saale) shows how a lively and accessible tourist infrastructure can be created through innovative measures and digital offerings. It remains exciting to see how these developments will affect the number of visitors and perception of the city.
