Things will get sporty in the idyllic Haff region on June 21, 2025, because the “Rad am Haff” event will bring over 100 enthusiastic cyclists onto the roads between Mönkebude, Torgelow, Altwarp and Hintersee in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district. From 10 a.m. the first participants are expected at the starting point in Mönkebude to set out on the 75 and 95 kilometer routes. A special highlight of the event is the sprint competition, which will take place between Hintersee and Ahlbeck and will close the road to traffic in the late morning. Motorists in the region are asked to exercise particular caution on this day and, if necessary, take alternative routes to avoid traffic jams and disruptions. These instructions are important so that both cyclists and drivers can travel safely, as NDR reports.
